What's better is that you can get dragonplate armour with a Quest, the letter to it is in Whiterun's Inn I believe, so you can get THE BEST GRADE ARMOR right off after leaving Helgen. GG good balancing. You can acquire Longhammer afterwards, having basically the best Armour in the game alongside a Daedric level Warhammer (Although it's orcish, it's light weight and faster swinging gives it the DPS of a Daedric Hammer)

when i used this video as a tutorial for my gunslinger build i realized how far the 10mm pistol could carry you. i used it to kill kellogg easily at like level 21 and then i picked up his pistol. i still use the 10mm in case i want to save my .44 magnum ammo.
